About me...

Hi, my name is Drew Gorman. I’m currently a sophomore studying Environmental Design with a focus in Architecture at the University of Colorado, Boulder. Before, Boulder, I attended Gonzaga College High School in Washington, D.C. During my first year in the program, I gained experience in many other fields such as product design, landscape design, and urban planning. Additionally, I’ve become proficient in many programs such as: Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premier Pro,  AutoCAD, Blender, Elementor, and many more.

Something about me has always been passionate about architecture and design in general, tracing it as far back to 10 year-old me placing wood blocks in Minecraft trying to build my first house. I like to think of architecture as the perfect blend of art and purpose. Art can make us feel emotions, react in different ways, and cause us to think on a deeper level. However, I’ve always found art quite 2 dimensional. Architecture allows you to create a usable space that evokes the same emotion, thought, and reaction. My goal in life is to create environments and surroundings that provoke thought and wonder without sacrificing functionality.
