About me...

Hi, my name is Drew Gorman. I’m currently a junior studying Environmental Design with a focus in Product Design and minoring in Business at the University of Colorado, Boulder. Before, Boulder, I attended Gonzaga College High School in Washington, D.C. During my first year in the program, I gained experience in many other fields such as product design, landscape design, and urban planning. Additionally, I’ve become proficient in many programs such as: Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premier Pro, Rhino3D, AutoCAD, Blender, Elementor, and many more.

Something about me has always been passionate about product design and the creative field in general, tracing it as far back to 10 year-old me placing wood blocks in Minecraft trying to build my first house. I like to think of product design as the perfect blend of art and purpose. Art can make us feel emotions, react in different ways, and cause us to think on a deeper level. However, I’ve always felt art to be two dimensional and lacking intention. Product design allows for artistic expression while introducing functionality and purpose. My goal is to design for others with intentionality and the future in mind.
